Undercover 85 Denim

The Undercover 85 Denim is probably your favorite jeans' favorite jeans. Jun Takahashi created this pinnacle of ripped and repaired denim for his AW 2005 show 'arts & crafts'. The infamous pair reached it's hype being worn by many rappers around 2020 just like Travis Scott and Playboy Carti. The current market price is starting at 5000$. Coming from the simple technique of darning a hole of jeans, here it appears like the pair has ripped in every imaginable spot and has been repaired over and over again with different colors of thread. This is why we chose it as the first post on @lildenimjean. It built the foundation for a plenty of young designers to recreate the design and evolve its color palette and fit.

BBC Ice Cream Running Dog Jeans

Whether it's the famous Vetements Jeans or one of the thousands made by small streetwear brands, you can't really go outside without seeing someone wearing a pair of crotch print jeans. The first crotch print denim to appear on the scene actually dates a while back. Around 2005 the brand “Billionare Boys Club Ice Cream” released their iconic “running dog jeans”, most famous for the motive of a running dog printed on the crotch of the jeans. After being worn by the likes of Pharell Williams and Nigo it received worldwide attention and inspired an entire generation of streetwear brands as well as some high fashion labels to create their own version.
